Victorian Set of Eight Chairs, in Oak and Leather, with square shaped backs and seats, upholstered in good quality red leather hide and with brass studs, the frames with chamfered, hexagonal and turned legs and stretchers in light Oak, with front brass inset casters and splayed back legs, the backs with rear carrying handles. These chairs are to a design by A. W. N. Pugin, circa 1850, and are the same design as the chairs made for the Palace of Westminster.
